3 Days South Luangwa

Your Itinerary

South Luangwa National Park in Zambia is a must-see destination for any nature enthusiast. On a three-day tour, you'll explore the diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes of this vast park, located near the borders of Zambia and Malawi. You'll have the opportunity to take part in exciting game drives, bush walks, and boat trips that will give you unparalleled views of the area's rich wildlife. You'll also have the chance to spot some of the park's more rare animal species such as the Thornicroft's giraffe and Cookson's wildebeest. With its breathtaking sights and wide array of wildlife, South Luangwa National Park is the perfect destination for an unforgettable three-day adventure.

Day 1

Depart Lilongwe in the morning and head towards the Malawi/Zambia border and after immigration formalities continue our journey towards the Luangwa valley. Picnic lunch is en-route. Arrive in Luangwa in the afternoon, check in and the rest of the day is spent unwinding from the journey. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 2

Early bird breakfast - coffee/tea with a snack. Morning drive starts at 6:00 in open vehicles from the camp. Drives are usually about 4 hours with a tea/coffee break in between within the park. Return to the lodge by 11:00 for the much awaited brunch. You have your own leisure time perhaps by the pool. Afternoon/night drive follows at 16:00 after tea/coffee and snack. Return to the lodge by 8:00 and dinner follows. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 3

After breakfast we check out, pack and drive back to Malawi stopping at the Trible textiles. Picnic lunch is again enjoyed en route. Arrival Lilongwe is afternoon and drop you off at your place of choice within the city.
