
3 DAYS SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK
This tour leaves from Lilongwe, Malawi. It takes you to one of the most pristine wildlife regions in Africa. South Luangwa National Park is dubbed as one of the best animal sanctuaries in the world due to the concentration of animals along the Luangwa river. The Luangwa river supports a lot of wildlife in the Luangwa valley. Walking safaris originated in this park and is one of the finest ways to experience Africa's pristine wilderness first hand. Leopard sightings are exceptional here.
ITINERARY
DAY 1 - SOUTH LUANGWA
Depart Lilongwe in the morning and head towards the Malawi/Zambia border and after immigration formalities continue our journey towards the Luangwa valley. Picnic lunch is en-route. Arrive in Luangwa in the afternoon, check in and the rest of the day is spent unwinding from the journey. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
DAY 2 - SOUTH LUANGWA
Early bird breakfast - coffee/tea with a snack. Morning drive starts at 6:00 in open vehicles from the camp. Drives are usually about 4 hours with a tea/coffee break in between within the park. Return to the lodge by 11:00 for the much awaited brunch. You have your own leisure time perhaps by the pool. Afternoon/night drive follows at 16:00 after tea/coffee and snack. Return to the lodge by 8:00 and dinner follows. Overnight at the lodge.
DAY 3 - END OF SAFARI
After breakfast we check out, pack and drive back to Malawi stopping at the Trible textiles. Picnic lunch is again enjoyed en route. Arrival Lilongwe is afternoon and drop you off at your place of choice within the city.
