ACTIVITIES IN SOUTH LUANGWA

Game Drives: Morning and afternoon drives are offered. Morning drives usually start before sunrise. This allows you to take the best of the morning game-viewing. Afternoon drives continue after sunset and this allows you to spot some nocturnal creatures of the park.

Bush Camp: This gives you an opportunity to enjoy the real bush game experience as you are accompanied by a guide and walk from one overnight camp to another along the river banks. This allows you to explore areas where there are no roads seeing nothing but wildlife.

Local Village Visits: If you are interested in the culture, traditions and daily lives of the people around.

Victoria Falls is found on Zambezi River. It is located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe and it is one the world's largest waterfalls, with a width of 1,708 m (5,604 ft). In modern terms it is described as the greatest curtain of falling water in the world. The knife age bridge gives you the finest view of the main falls as well as the boiling pot where the river turns and heads down the Batoka Gorge.

Activities in Victoria Falls include:  

  • Walk along the footpath of Victoria falls.

  • Walk along the knife edge bridge.

  • Visit Livingstone Island and take a dip in Devil's pool.

  • Sunset boat cruise on Zambezi river.
